I don’t know about you, but when it is my birthday, I look forward to spending time with friends, eating cake and getting PRESENTS!!! Well, sisters, Reese and Mia like presents too, but instead of asking for birthday presents for their 6th birthday, they asked friends and family to donate food and backpacks to Blessings in a Backpack.
Blessings in a Backpack is an organization that provides food to elementary school children on the weekends. Children, that otherwise, might spend the weekend hungry. Donations are always appreciated and enable the organization to feed even more kids. www.Blessingsinabackpack.org
Upon learning about Blessings in a Backpack, Reese and Mia, with the help of their older sister, Morgan, collected a plethora of food and 31 bookbags for Blessings in a Backpack, in lieu of gifts, for their birthday.
Three cheers for three sisters who are fully “present” to other kids in need!
